Land Dimensions regularly performs land surveying, land use planning, detailed engineering design and calculation, and landscape design for a variety of public and private projects. Work in the private sector has included designing and analyzing systems for major subdivisions, shopping centers and commercial/industrial facilities.
These facilities range in size from 1 acre to over 1200 acres and are typically for shopping centers from 10,000 to 400,000 sq.ft. and more. Commercial warehouse facilities have reached 1,000,000 sq.ft. buildings. Work in the public sector has included several site development projects for new school buildings for various local school districts and colleges, as well as additions to a variety of other school and public buildings. Primarily all of our project work involves complete design of site facilities including roads, parking, utilities, drainage, landscaping, water and sewer systems, storm water quality management devices and environmental constraint analysis, including soils and wetlands.
Our involvement begins at the ground level providing feasibility assessment and concept layout for properties under contract. Once purchased, we advance the concept into reality by preparing site or subdivision plans. Our success is built on integrating the working knowledge of the environment, existing condition survey, infrastructure engineering, and construction issues of land development into a viable and comprehensive project approach.
